Harpoon nuevo modulo en diseño/ Harpoon new module in design

A comment on "Persian Incursion" by Larry Bond

Persian incursion Harpoon use rules, but we are organizing so that the buyer does not need to have the rules of Harpoon (we're hoping some thumbnails not the players could be interested in it). Since we are dealing with a limited objective and the overall system, let the rules boil down a series of tables. Everything will be in line with Harpoon, but need not be the rule book to see if a GBU hit a building, or a SAM hit the plane that dropped it.

Everything will be in terms Harpoon, so it will work with Harpoon 4.1 and should work with the next Harpoon V. If a player wants to change a setting by the addition of new aircraft or weapons, you have to do the math yourself, and will have standards, but fit perfectly with tables in Persian incursion.

Regarding the update of the previous products of H4 to Harpoon V, will update the rules, then do the updates on the products above.

BGM-34C Strike RPV

--------------------------

The BGM-34C was the final design of the BGM-34 series, developed itself as version reconnaissance drone attack remotely piloted drones recognition of Teledyne Ryan AQM/BQM/MQM/BGM-34 more specifically their model 259.

The design of the BGM-34C models preceded BGM and BGM-34A-34B, the Model A was born in the late 60s as an attempt to convert the Teledyne drones in a remote controlled anti-ship missile for the U.S. Navy, was amended in several Models equipped with a television camera in the nose and a radio altimeter for altitude keeping. The drone is modeled catalog 248 being tested successfully against white vessels, but the project was abandoned by the Navy for lack of funds. During the same year the U.S. Air Force (USAF), became interested in Firebee I convert models to be used as suppressors of air defenses (SEAD) due to the great danger of their missions, to do so, in 1971 became several models 147S to the BGM-34A versions (model 234), this model was very similar to the previous USNavy, being piloted by a TV camera to the target area and had the capability of firing missiles and AGM-65A Maveriks optical guided bombs as the AGM-52 Walleye and the GBU-8 and GBU-9 HOBOS against enemy air defenses. Also were tested with Shike anti-radiation missiles, dumb bombs, 250 and 500 pound cluster munition containers SUU-7. Such models could be launched from an MD-130 or ground through a RATO booster rocket attached to the rear of the UAV.

The BGM-34B model was born as an enhancement to previous successful tests of the Model A, Model B had a better engine, improving the control surfaces and increased operational capacity, there were 8 models B and its operational tests were conducted between 73 and 74. This carried a new nose with a TV camera or LLLTV low light and a laser designator for target designation to BGM-34s acting as bombers and carrying laser guided bombs. Their armament was increased with Mk 82 dumb bombs, laser guided bombs GBU-12, ALE-chaffs containers 38 and seismic sensors. This model had three versions, the first model was named as BGM-34B, the second version was a dedicated reconnaissance designation AQM-34M wearing a nose-recognition cameras and two container supports chaffs ALE-38 u another computer. Another version was the AQM-34V, a version that replaced their systems for recognition by a powerful ECM and containers chaffs ALE-38 on the wings.

With the availability of three versions of the same model, the latest version was planned, the BGM-34C, for those versions that were combined into a single model. To narrow purpose, became YAQM five Cs-34U models that were tested between September 1976 and April 1978. One of the most significant improvements was its modularity which allowed the exchange of payload in the nose of the drones, and can configure several models in different missions, either reconnaissance, electronic countermeasures or attack. Model C available weapons the same settings from previous versions A and B, adding containers chaffs ALE-2 and fuel tanks of 67 gallons of fuel. Although the tests were highly positive and was seen a great capacity for improvement, the commanders themselves the USAF decided to dismiss because it believed it would be a threat to manned aircraft.
