Rio Damuji OPV (III)

Nuevas fotos indican la confirmación de que dos nuevas unidades estan procediendo a ser actualizadas para OPV, complementando al buque de numeral 390 en la marina de guerra revolucionaria cubana.


La primera imagen de satelite indica la presencia del OPV 390 mas un gemelo en el puerto de la Habana

Se le ve el proceso de modificación, incluyendo la plataforma para el cañon ZSU-57-2. Una tercera unidad esta realizando su modificación en la bahia de cienfuegos, en los astilleros de la carbonera.

Esto elevaria a tres el numero de futuras unidades de esta clase, dando una mejor interoperatividad para el patrullaje de de la Zona Economica Exclusiva cubana, permitiendo una mas que aceptable rotación entre unidades. Un mapa de la ZEE cubana con posibilidad de prosprecciones petroliferas y las ZEEs del carible.

Por tercera vez se vuelve a realizar una modificación en el form de dicha unidad, por ahora no cuento una supuesta cuarta unidad.

LCM-1E LCM

El LCM-1E es el nuevo lanchon de desembarco construido por la compañia Navantia en sustitución de los antiguos LCM(8), el nuevo modelo mejora la velocidad, la autonomia, la capacidad de carga y la versatilidad. Navantia esta construyendo 14 unidades para la marina española, mientras, se ha firmado un contrato con Australia para suministrarle 14 unidades para sus nuevos buques anfibios.

Rio Damuji OPV

El Rio Damuji es un buque pesquero del mismo nombre construido en los años 1975 a 1979 en españa para la "Flota Cubana de Pesca". La clase de arrastreros estaba formada por aproximadamente 26 buques. En 2006 el Rio Damuji fue internado en el arsenal de la Habana y convertido en el buque que es hoy. Se le desmontaron varios elementos de la superestructura, se le cerro la bahia de recogida de aparejos, realizando trabajos en el interior, desmontandole todo el equipamiento de procesamiento pesquero, y convirtiendo dicho espacio en almacenamiento y camarotes. Tambien se le monto en la popa del buque, una plataforma de helicopteros y se le instalaron varios sistemas de armas. El buque esta catalogado como OPV y tiene el numeral "390".

Entre el armamento instalado podemos ver:
-Una Torreta de cañon de 75mm doble proveniente de un sistema antiaereo ZSU-57-2 en un soporte elevado.
-Dos tubos de misiles P-15 Termit [SS-N-2 Stix]
-Un cañon ZPU-1 de 14.5mm delante del puente de mando.
-Dos torretas de cañon dobles de 25mm de calibre 2M-3M en la parte trasera de la estructura, a babor y estribor.
-Un pescante para una lancha rapida en la popa del buque.

Ciertos rumores indican que el buque puede tener capacidad de transporte de tropas o de actuar como minador pero no se ha podido confirmar.

No dispone de radares de tiro o de busqueda aerea, solo algun radar comercial de superficie. Hay posibilidades de que pueda llevar algun sistema de ayuda electronica tipo ESM. La cubierta de helicopteros permite el despegue y aterrizaje de un helicoptero medio tipo Mil Mi-8 que se ha podido ver en algun despliegue.

The Rio Damuji is a fishing vessel of the same name built in the years 1975 to 1979 in Spain for the "Cuban Fishing Fleet." The class of trawlers was comprised of approximately 26 vessels. Damuji Rio in 2006 was admitted to the arsenal of Havana andbecome the vessel that it is today. Among the weaponry installed we can see:
-A gun-turret twin 75mm anti-aircraft system from a ZSU-57-2 on a floor stand in the bow of the ship.
-Two missile tubes Termit P-15 [SS-N-2 Stix] to port and starboard sides of the canyon to the forecastle.
-A cannon of 14.5mm ZPU-1 before the bridge.
-Two double gun turrets gauge 25mm 2M-3M in the rear of the structure, port and starboard.
-A box for a speed boat at the stern of the ship.

Rumors indicate that the vessel may have capacity to transport troops or to act as a miner but has not been confirmed.

You do not have radar, fire control or air search, only commercial radar any surface. Chances are you can take any typeelectronic support system ESM. The helicopter deck allows takeoff and landing of a helicopter half Mil Mi-8 type that has been seen in any deployment.

It is believed that the use of P-15 missiles is limited because in the absence of the associated fire control, you may be infrared missile guidance and should be fired in bearing mode or BOL (Bearing only launch)

Nuevo buque desembarco de la Marina de Argelia / Algerian Navy new landing ship

La marina argelina esta en proceso de adquisición de un nuevo diseño de LPD para su futura fuerza de desembarco de marines. Dicho buque parece esta basado en los LPD de la clase San Giorgio Italiana, aunque tambien se esta considerando un modelo frances.

El diseño podria basarse en una remodelación de los LPD San Giorgio, mas conretamente en una posible venta de Italia a Argelia devido a su retiro de las unidades San Giorgio (L9892) y San Marco (L9893), siendo actualizadas antes de su transpaso por los astilleros italianos.


Los buques mantendrian su capacidad transporte anfibio, siendo la siguiente:

• 30 carros de combate. 
• 36 vehículos blindados.
• 3 NH90 Merlin / SH-3 Sea King o 5 Linx / AB-212
• 3 LCM en la cubierta inundable y 3 LCVP en 3 perchas a babor

Como sistemas de armas actualizado podemos concretar que dispondrá de:

• Un nuevo cañón oto melara 76mm/62 Super Rapid y un control de tiro Dorna asociado. 
• Dos cañones controlados remotamente de 25mm
• Un lanzador octuple VLS A-50 Sylver con 8 Aster 15/30 

Se potencia es sistema de sensores con la inclusión del sistema de radar EMPAR

Mantiene su capacidad de lanzamiento de helicopteros mediante sus dos puestos de aterrizaje y despegue a proa y popa para helicópteros tipo merlin. Se mantiene el elevador.

Varyag / Shi Lang (I)

Las ultimas imagenes de los trabajos llevados en los astilleros Dailan en el portaviones Varyag nos han traido sorpresas en estos ultimos meses, entre ellos tenemos los siguientes:

La asesina de portaviones de Taiwan / Taiwan "Carrier Killer"

Taiwan has unveiled an artist’s concept of an advanced missile corvette designed to counter the threat of Chinese aircraft carriers, according to various news services.

Dubbed the "carrier killer", the 1,000-ton corvette will be armed with Hsiungfeng-III ship-to-ship missiles. 

A computerized graphic of the 1,000-ton "carrier killer," which has so far been kept secret from the public, has gone on display at Taipei's military museum, run by the defense ministry, according to Agence France Press and Defense News.

Naval analysts believe the vessel is kept small to maximize speed and have a low radar signature. 

China, which has plans for future aircraft carriers, considers Taiwan a breakaway province that must be reunited with the mainland.

El susodicho buque es una corbeta multicasco de unas mil toneladas de desplazamiento a plena carga, con tecnología Stealth y una velocidad maxima de 30 nudos. Como armamento, segun la imagen llevaria un OTO melara 76/62 Super Rapide en la proa, 4 SSMs antibuques Hsiung Feng III, MGs y un CIWS Phalanx, no tengo la seguridad de que lleve tubos de torpedos, un hangar con helicoptero o algun sistema SAM. normalmente dichos sistemas no son llevados en las corvetas o patrulleras de la marina de la ROC. The ship could control the Straits of Formosa Taiwan of Chinese incursions and prevent invasion attems of mainland.
