Small Diameter Bomb II GBU-53/B

Raytheon esta realizando los testeos para el comienzo de la futura producción de su nueva versión de las bombas SBD, la GBU-53/B. Dichas bombas de peso ligero han sido actualizadas con un buscador de blancos móviles de tres modos conjuntos, estos son:

• Buscador Radar milimétrico
• Buscador laser semiactivo
• Buscador Inflarojo

Este nuevo modo de búsqueda permite realizar ataques contra blancos fijos y móviles sin perder las prestaciones del anterior modelo GBU-39.

La GBU-39/B puede ser transportadas a bordo de los F-15E, F-22 y F-35, aunque en este ultimo, en la versión de los marines, hay problemas para integrarlos dentro de la bodega, viendo reducida su capacidad de ocho unidades a seis.

Raytheon is doing the testing for the beginning of future production of its new version of the SBD bombs, the GBU-53 / B. These lightweight pumps have been updated with a mobile homing modes of three sets, these are:

• Millimeter Radar Seaker
• Semi-active laser Seaker
• Infrarred Seaker

This new search mode allows attacks against fixed and mobile targets without losing the benefits of the previous model GBU-39.


The GBU-39 / B can be carried on board the F-15E, F-22 and F-35, although in the latter, in the version of the Marines, there are problems integrating them into the cellar, seeing reduced capacity six to eight units.

Rockwell B-1R Bomber Form

El Rockwell B-1R, fue una propuesta de modernización para la flota de B-1Bs. Sus cambios externos incluian la adopcion de una cola en "V", nuevos motores Pratt & Whitney F119, los mismos motores que lleva el F-22, pero sin vectorización de empuje.

Los cambios internos incluian la adpcion de un radas APG-80, llevado por el F-16 Block60. Otro de los cambios incluia una actualización de la capacidad de armamento del bombardero, incluyendo misiles aire aire como el AIM-120 AMRAAM y dos contenedores de contramedidas electronicas AN/ALQ-99, como los llevados por el EA-6B Prowler o el EA-18G Growler.

Las prestaciones de este nuevo bombardeo le permitian mantener una velocidad de supercrucero durante el vuelo (Mach 2+). El proyecto no paso de las mesas de diseño

The Rockwell B-1R, was a proposal to modernize the fleet of B-1Bs. Its external changes included the adoption of a tail assembly "V", new Pratt & Whitney F119, the same engine that carries the F-22, but without thrust vectoring.

Internal changes included adpcion an APG-80 AESA radar, carried by the F-16 Block60. Another change included an update of the bomber's weapons capability, including air-air missiles like the AIM-120 AMRAAM and two electronic countermeasures AN/ALQ-99 containers, such as those carried by the
EA-6B Prowler and EA-18G Growler.

The benefits of this new bombing permitted him to maintain a speed of supercruise during flight (Mach 2 +) with a reduction of 20% of its maximum range. The project does not pass the design table

Remarks:
Proposal bomber by Rockwell to 2014-18 regional bomber, no enter in service. Fitted with DataLink, ESM, Satcom. Rememorized by F-22 Power Plant, no vectorized Trust capable. Super cruiser speed allowed, combat range reduced in 20%. New radar with AESA capability, AIM-120 AMRRAM and other Air to Air missile allowed. Reduce range of hostile radars within the radar horizon by 40%.

FB-111H and Form

El FB-111H fue un proyecto de la General Dynamics como bombardero estrategico, primero como un modelo mejorado de los FB-111A del SAC y despues como alternativa al cancelado B-1A, dicho modelo tenia varias mejoras con respecto a su modelo precedente dandole una capacidad superior y un mayor alcance. Entre las mejoras destacarles podemos detallas las siguientes:

• Alargamiento de 4.57 metros y agrandamiento de 0.45 metros del fuselaje trasero para acomodar dos motores turbofan General Electric GE 101 con Afterburner.
• El aumento de la capacidad de carga de combustible, que pasaba de 36848 Lb a 64574 Lb de combustible interno.
• 6 nuevos soportes de armamento en el fuselaje con una capacidad de carga de 2500Lb cada uno, con capacidad para transportar el misil AGM-69 SRAM
• Una bodega de armas rotativa agrandada y mejorada con capacidad para transportar 3 ALCM-A, 4 AGM-69 SRAM o 5 bombas nucleares
• Retiene los 6 soportes de armamentos en las alas de los anteriores modelos de F-111s incluyendo  los 2 mas externos fijos, limitando el angulo de apertura de las alas a 26 grados.
• Alcance de 4100 millas nauticas a alta altitud y 2200 millas nauticas a baja altitud, 6900 millas nauticas en configuracion de ferry a alta altitud.
• Velocidad máxima Mach 1.6 a 36000 pies, velocidad de crucero Mach 0.65, velocidad maxima a baja cota Mach 0.85 a 200 pies
• Peso en vacio: 30408 Lb, Maximo en el despegue: 140000 Lb, Maximo en vuelo: 156000 Lb

Por desgracia, el proyecto no paso de la fase de diseño.

He diseñado un form para propositos de testeo de escenarios, no es muy exacto pero creo que es aproximado a sus posibles capacidades.

The FB-111H was a project of General Dynamics as a strategic bomber, first as an improved model of the SAC FB-111A and then as an alternative to the canceled B-1A, the model had several improvements over its previous model giving a higher capacity and greater range. We Enhancements include the following details:

• Elongation of 4.57 meters and 0.45 meters enlarged rear fuselage to accommodate two General Electric turbofan engines with Afterburner GE 101.
• The increased fuel load, which went from 36848 Lb to 64574 lb internal fuel.
• 6 new weapons mounts in the fuselage with a capacity of 2500Lb each capable of carrying the missile AGM-69 SRAM.
• An enlarged cellar and improved rotary weapons capable of carrying three ALCM-A, 4 AGM-69 SRAM or five nuclear bombs.
• Holds 6 mounting arms on the wings of the previous models of F-111s including two more fixed external, limiting opening angle of the wings at 26 degrees.
• Range of 4100 nautical miles at high altitude and 2,200 nautical miles at low altitude. 6900 nautical milles in ferry configuration at high altitude.
• Maximum speed Mach 1.6 36000 feet, cruising speed Mach 0.65, maximum speed Mach 0.85 at low altitude to 200 feet.
• Empty weight: 30408 Lb, Maximum Take-off: 140000 Lb, Max Flight: 156000 Lb

Unfortunately, the project will not step in the design phase.
