Este site, Franco Ingles, da mucha informacion referente a dos unidades especificas, la primera el el 16 Air Army, o 16 vozdouchnaya armiya  (16.VA), dicha unidad pertenecia a la VVS (Voenno-Vozdushnye Sily), o Fuerzas aéreas militares estaba desplegado en alemania del este
